UTAW-CWU members at Mitie have won a historic pay rise.
In 2025, the remote engineering team, based in Northern Ireland, secured union recognition with UTAW-CWU. Following successful negotiations on their first pay claim, members have now accepted a huge, inflation-busting pay deal. When workers unionise, pay goes up.
