Workers are organising at Meta with the UK’s largest tech union, citing attacks on their employment rights, redundancies and shocking violations of privacy against both Meta employees and users of their platforms.

“News like the reductions in UK employee insurance coverage and training AI on coworkers’ private data in spite of their objections, have left us feeling disrespected and unheard.

As individuals, we have little power against a company that signalled its intention to care about us less and less. Together, we can advocate for what’s right for each other, our users, and the long-term success of our company.

If we can build Meta, we can build our union at Meta too. It’s time to do something.
