UTAW stands in solidarity with Iranian and Lebanese workers currently under bombardment by the United States of America and Israel.

The Iranian people deserve self determination, to choose their government by democratic means, not through an external regime change war intended to destabilise the country and cement U.S. control over the region and its resources. We condemn the military action, and call for an immediate ceasefire.

We also demand that the British government withdraw its troops, arms and intelligence from the region.
